On the bottom floor, there are food and beverage options as well as a retail store for campers.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the lodge, they are also opening 15 tent sites along the Apex Creek and 10 RV sites. Campers will have access to new hiking trails, an adaptive multi-use bike trail and an off-leash dog area.<\/p>\n<p>The developments are one step of Whitewater\u2019s latest <a href=\"https:\/\/skiwhitewater.com\/master-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">master plan<\/a> that includes building a hotel, a hostel and employee housing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>General Manager Rebeckah Hornung joined CJLY to discuss the new developments at the ski resort:<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whitewater Ski Resort in Nelson is opening new overnight accommodations this summer, marking the first time the resort will be open to the public in summer.
