Photo by Skol House.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>That\u2019s the idea for the property for now, but as construction continues at the 1800s schoolhouse, Klar says he and co-owner Jefferson Wilde welcome feedback from community members.<\/p>\n<p>\"We know we want people to enjoy this space. So, that's our end goal; we want to bring people back. How exactly we do that, we're very open to feedback from the people who use the space. That's kind of our approach,\" Klar said.<\/p>\n<p>The concert series, featuring a headlining show from Nelson Sobral and his band on Canada Day, is a great showcase of the rich pocket of talent that exists in the Fergus-Elora area, Klar says.<\/p>\n<p>\"What we hope to do at the schoolhouse this year and next year is really put a spotlight on some of the fantastic talent that exists around here. Especially in the Fergus-Elora area it's a real pocket that's so dense with talent, so we're hoping to shine a light on that a little bit,\" Klar stated.<\/p>\n<p>The building \"needs some love,\" Klar says, as it has been abandoned for so long.
