{"id":155994,"date":"2023-05-26T11:54:49","date_gmt":"2023-05-26T15:54:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/?p=155994"},"modified":"2023-05-26T11:54:49","modified_gmt":"2023-05-26T15:54:49","slug":"lennox-and-addington-county-takes-on-new-strategic-plan-for-2023-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/en\/lennox-and-addington-county-takes-on-new-strategic-plan-for-2023-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Lennox and Addington County takes on new strategic plan for 2023-2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lennox and Addington County Council voted in favour of the new 2023-2026 strategic plan this week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chief Administrative Officer Brenda Orchard asked for council\u2019s consideration on a new Strategic Plan at the May 24 Lennox and Addington County council meeting.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The four main priorities listed in the plan were strategic capital planning, economic growth and opportunity, safe affordable housing and the environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On May 10, a Strategic Planning Session for council was held. Data from the session was then formed into a Strategic Plan narrative document, as well as a Strategic Priorities at a Glance document. Council was asked to review the materials and prepare to discuss the matter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Orchard noted the next steps beyond council\u2019s approval.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThe departments will go back and go action planning, which we will bring back to you in the July meeting.
