Photo courtesy of Mary Turner.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Becca's Beans co-owner Doug McCaffry said the new partnership came about by happy accident, when he and his wife and business partner Melanie stopped into the caf\u00e9 for a meal and asked about the current coffee supplier.<\/p>\n<p>The McCaffrys <a href=\"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/en\/local-coffee-roasterie-has-new-owners-at-the-helm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bought Becca's Beans in 2021<\/a>, and this is their first off-island distribution channel since then, although they've also <a href=\"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/en\/coffee-collaboration-supports-local-businesses-brings-new-products-to-cortes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">collaborated with another local business<\/a> to create a new product.<\/p>\n<p>Island Farm to Table's owner Mary Turner says she's committed to sourcing local products and ingredients.
