{"id":126984,"date":"2022-11-15T16:48:45","date_gmt":"2022-11-15T21:48:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/?p=126984"},"modified":"2022-11-15T16:48:45","modified_gmt":"2022-11-15T21:48:45","slug":"prince-rupert-port-authority-enters-agreement-with-global-ports-holding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/en\/prince-rupert-port-authority-enters-agreement-with-global-ports-holding\/","title":{"rendered":"Prince Rupert Port Authority enters agreement with Global Ports Holding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Northland Cruise Terminal in Prince Rupert is now under new management following a recent Prince Rupert Port Authority's (PRPA) agreement with Global Ports Holding Plc (GPH).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mailchi.mp\/92d1c1c64a76\/news-alertstrong-return-for-cruise-tourism-in-prince-rupert-13744978?e=00bf6875f7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Announced on Nov. 14<\/a>, the Terminal Operating Agreement marks the first time in its history that the terminal will not be run by the PRPA, according to the Manager of Trade Development for the authority Jeff Stromdahl.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Opened in 2004, the terminal has been a popular dock for cruise ships making their way to Alaska.
