{"id":123606,"date":"2022-10-26T15:13:08","date_gmt":"2022-10-26T19:13:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/?p=123606"},"modified":"2022-10-26T15:13:08","modified_gmt":"2022-10-26T19:13:08","slug":"north-coast-captured-in-double-vision-exhibit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/en\/north-coast-captured-in-double-vision-exhibit\/","title":{"rendered":"North Coast captured in &#8216;Double Vision&#8217; exhibit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A new exhibition in Kitimat is highlighting the beauty of the North Coast through two different lenses, literally.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The D<em>ouble Vision<\/em> exhibit features photos from Kitimat locals Kathy Ouwehand and Murray Minchin.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ouwehand and Minchin say that they started snapping shots for the exhibit about two years ago after Ouwehand was approached by a representative of the Kitimat Museum and Archives at an arts and crafts fair.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Although they worked together and often shot in the same places, Minchin says that their photos came out very different. Photo by Kathy Ouwehand.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Minchin explained that their photography for the exhibit is meant to showcase how differently Ouwehand and himself view things.
