{"id":122423,"date":"2022-10-20T17:17:57","date_gmt":"2022-10-20T21:17:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/?p=122423"},"modified":"2022-10-20T17:17:57","modified_gmt":"2022-10-20T21:17:57","slug":"oneida-filmmaker-brings-her-lgbtq2-comedy-to-the-forest-city-film-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/en\/oneida-filmmaker-brings-her-lgbtq2-comedy-to-the-forest-city-film-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Oneida filmmaker brings her LGBTQ2+ comedy to the Forest City Film Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">The Forest City Film Festival (FCFF) is on this week in London, Ontario.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The festival features the work of film artists connected to southwestern Ontario including features, shorts, documentaries, short documentaries and short animations.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In addition, the FCFF presents a selection of the best Canadian films of the year, as well as industry workshops, networking, a screenplay competition, filmmaker Q&amp;As, receptions and awards.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">CKRZ was able to speak with filmmaker Judith Kanatahawi Schuyler from Oneida Nation of the Thames, southwest of London.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\">Schuyler wrote, directed and stared in her short film <em>Once Upon A Time in the Bay<\/em>, and she's the festival's Indigenous Program Coordinator.
