In less than ten days, Nelson residents will cast their vote to elect a new mayor and six city councillors, who will determine how the city should be run for the next four years.<\/p>\n

In a series of interviews, Kootenay Co-Op Radio has been sitting down with most of the candidates to find out who they are, what their goals are with their candidacy and why they think they deserve a spot at the council table. The candidates range from current councillors and experienced policy makers, to people making their first venture into politics.<\/p>\n
