High mountain meadows bloom this time of year for a short moment of summer glory. Alpine wildflowers are integral to the existence of Mount Revelstoke as a national park, beautiful to experience and celebrated by Tourism Revelstoke with a festival this week.<\/p>\n

From Aug. 3-7, Wednesday to Sunday, there will be events like free shuttles up Mount Revelstoke if you have a park pass, window painting, high tea at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, photography workshops with Laura Szanto and more. Check out the schedule<\/a>, get outside and go climb a mountain or at least a ridge.<\/p>\n
