The call came in at 2:21 p.m. and according to firefighter Caroline Gagn\u00e9, they were on scene by 2:41 p.m. and had the blaze under control by around 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>She said that the cause of the blaze was a power line touching a tree, which resulted in about half an acre to an acre of brush being burnt.<\/p>\n<!--[if lt IE 9]><script>document.createElement('audio');<\/script><![endif]-->\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-108153-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Clip-Caroline-Gagne-brush-fire-response.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Clip-Caroline-Gagne-brush-fire-response.mp3\">https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Clip-Caroline-Gagne-brush-fire-response.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p>In all, the road was closed for about an hour and a half to two hours.
