Premier John Horgan has announced an election will be held on Oct. 24.\u00a0 Advance Polls will open on Oct.16.<\/p>\n<p>The next scheduled provincial election was set for October of 2021. However, New Democrats hope a snap vote will turn the party\u2019s 41-seat minority government into at least a 44-seat majority.
