When asked about her journey in discovering the range of modalities she specializes in, she replied, \u201ceverything that moved, I studied.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_104730\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-104730\" class=\"wp-image-104730 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/canada-info.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/J.Weaver.webp\" alt=\"A woman smiles.\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-104730\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Judyth Weaver has been teaching T'ai Chi Ch'uan for over 50 years and continues on Cortes Island. Photo by Bill Weaver.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The teacher of teachers carried on her programming to the Cold Mountain Institute, which is now known as Hollyhock Learning Centre on the island. This October, she will offer a course called <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/hollyhock.ca\/p\/5201\/sensory-awareness-rediscovering-experiencing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cSensory Awareness\u201d<\/a> which she explains, isn\u2019t teaching at all,<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI'm not teaching anything: what I do is remind people to pay attention to themselves and the world,\u201d Weaver said.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Weaver is offering several opportunities on Cortes including T\u2019ai Chi Ch\u2019uan at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12 at Mansons Hall. This is the last class for the season, and it's being offered through the Cortes Island Seniors Society (CISS). Beginning July 15, she is offering a week-long workshop, which still has availability.
