I have had a tremendous opportunity to travel around the world and be in Terry Fox runs,\" Fred says.<\/p>\n<p>Canadian athlete and humanitarian Terry Fox was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 18 and was inspired to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tfri.ca\/about\/terry-fox#:~:text=An%20active%20teenager%20involved%20in,above%20the%20knee%20in%201977.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">raise money for cancer research<\/a> by running across Canada.
