The steps that need to be taken to address the Opioid Crisis according to the BC Green Party leader. Sonia Furstenau, leader of the BC green party shares with CIVL what she thinks could be done in order to properly address The Opioid Crisis. Furstenau starts by saying, " First of all, I'm really happy that after nearly a year of pushing the government to bring an all-party committee over on the drug poising crisis, we now have that committee, the meetings have begun. We have our first meeting with people, with witnesses next week. She adds," this is an issue that transcends political boundaries that is not a partisan issue between six and seven people die every day from a poisonous drug supply... The first action that needs to be taken is a safe supply".
